Eillien’s Candies was established in June by Howard Burke to pack candy for supermarkets and was named after his wife.
John Burke Sr. purchased Eillien’s from his uncle Howard and established it as a corporation. Operations were being run out of the basement of a house in Green Bay, WI.
Moved to 1921 Progress Street., Green Bay, WI.
Began bagging for our very first private label customer. We are proud to say we still have a great relationship with this customer today!
Constructed a new 20,000 square foot building and moved to current location at 1301 Waube Ln., Green Bay, WI. Over the years, we have added 7 additions of 20,000 square feet each which expanded the main building to a total of 160,000 square feet. The expansions included adding cold storage to improve warehousing capacity and product freshness.

First automated packaging process was installed.
Brothers Pat, John, and David Burke bought Eillien’s Candies from their father, John. The three brothers now have over 100 years of combined experience.
Obtained AIB Food Safety Certification.
Created separate candy and nut production rooms to minimize allergen cross-over.
Added an in-house oil roaster to allow for better control of the quality of nuts we supply.
Obtained our SQF Level 2 Certification which we still maintain today!

Installed two new machines dedicated to pouch bags, a new production line for nut cans, and four additional high-speed form and fill candy packaging lines to accommodate growing business needs.
We diligently service our customers from our 240,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities. While we package hundreds of thousands of bags on a daily basis, we strive to never lose sight of the fact that every customer should be treated like family.
