Our Origin
Established in June by Howard Burke to pack candy for supermarkets, Eillien’s was named after Howard’s wife.
1959
First Location
John Burke bought Eillien’s from his uncle Howard and established it as a corporation. Operations were being run out of the basement of a house in Green Bay, WI.
1965
Second Location
Move to 1921 Progress St, Green Bay
1979
Private Labeling
Began bagging for our very first private label customer - we are proud to say we still have a great relationship with this customer today!
1984
Our New Home
Constructed a new building and moved to current location at 1301 Waube Ln, Green Bay, WI
1987
First Expansion
First addition to the building, adding 20,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and production space
1990
Second Expansion
Second addition to the building, adding 20,000 sq. ft. and the first bulk storage cooler to enhance the quality of product.
1993
Third Expansion
Third addition to the building of 20,000 sq. ft., adding a 2nd bulk storage cooler
1994
Automated Packaging
First automated packaging process with installed - vertical form and fill bagger
1996
Fourth Expansion
Fourth addition to the building, adding another 20,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space
1998
Sons Take the Helm
Brothers Pat, John and David Burke bought Eillien’s Candies from their father John
2001
Fifth Expansion
Fifth addition to the building, adding another 20,000 sq. ft. of space
2003
AIB Certification
Obtained AIB food safety certification
2005
Sixth Expansion
Sixth addition to the building, creating separate candy and nut production rooms to minimize allergen cross-over.
2008
Seventh Expansion
Seventh addition to the building, adding another 20,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space.
2011
In-House Roasting
Added in-house oil roaster to allow for better control on the quality of nuts we supply.
2015
Deep Racking
Added deep racking for more efficient warehousing of bulk products
2016
SQF Certification
Obtained SQF Level 2 Certification

Today and Beyond!
Today, we package hundreds of thousands of bags on a daily basis and service our customers from our 240,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities. We are proud to be family owned.
